Gate of Horn

Oceanus laps at the entry to the Gates of Dreams. In fields of sleepy poppy, Morpheus, son of Sleep, glides from the gate of Honest Horn. The Oneiroi’s winged shadowy figure transforms to familiar shapes. Through this he fashions his words to inform mortals of truths that pass, guiding them to futures that the gods require.

Gate of Ivory

Near the Gates of Dreams, at the edge of the Land of Dreams, leaves of dreams fall from the Elm Tree. The Dark Oneiroi, Epiales, claws from the Gate of Ivory Illusions. He falls upon a sleeper’s chest, heavy and dreadful. He threads nightmarish visions through the mind of the sleeper, as they cry for relief.
